I guess at least there's some consistency in using bad science to give bad advice.

On top of other concerns, are most of us wise enough at age 18, or 20, or even 25, to have some clue what kind of person we ought to spend our life with? Not that we necessarily know at 35 either, but it I have to wonder how wise it is to urge people to rush into what can be the single most impactful decision they'll ever make.
